Switch Heater Control Panels
Thermal-Flex 200, 400 and 600 Series switch heater control panels are a standardized component assembly of contactors, ground break equipment, circuit breakers, transformers, relays, fuses and other devices mounted on steel back panel-boards to provide specified control functions for 200, 400 and 600 volt range AC switch heaters.
The two essential control functions are turning on and off the switch heater and ground fault protection. Other functions include local heater on, ground fault indication, circuit flow for remote control, and circuitry for indicating a tripped ground fault at the control point. Other functions are provided as required for specific applications.
Thermal-Flex switch heater control panels are available from single circuit to multiple circuit configurations allowing the operation and control of as many as 8 or more switch heating systems from a central location. Optional control panel accessories include a variety of snow sensing devices permitting the switch heaters to be remotely activated.
